Heritage
This collection of mixed media works has a decidedly asian influence, inspired by the artist’s heritage and also by the “Stop Asian Hate” anti-violence rallies held across the United States in 2021 in response to racism against Asian Americans related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Stylistically the artist uses a combination of poignant imagery, collage, acrylic paint and paint pens, stencil and spray paint to evoke the gritty feel of urban streetscapes.
